Tuna Fishing   Click Here for 2008 Tuna Schedule

Tuna fishing is AWESOME! You go out to the deep water, and when you start pulling up fighter after fighter, it's nothing short of incredible. With no catch limits, you can crank 'em in until your arms give out. In one trip you can bring home enough tuna to last your enitre neighborhood for the next year. And you haven't lived until you've had tuna steaks you caught yourself and grilled outside over a bed of charcoal.

You Get More Fishing with Us! Unlike most charter offices, our boats leave the night before and motor out while you're sleeping. For a two-day trip, you fish in the morning and in the afternoon of the first day, and then all morning the second day. This means you get THREE full fishing sessions in on a 2-day trip, and FIVE sessions on a 3-day trip. If you're calling around and comparing, make sure you ask about exactly what you're getting. It only costs a little bit more, but in return you get a whole lot more for your time and money. People who are In The Know book with us!

Now with Four Boats! Our trips are so popular and successful that we have FOUR excellent boats going after Tuna! The Ranger was added last year, and this year the Neddie Rose will also be running Tuna trips. With the various government agencies again cutting quotas on other fisheries, maybe this is the year you try stepping up to Tuna! Call soon to make sure you get the dates you want.

GENERAL INFORMATION

The following is a list of suggested items you might want to bring with you when you are planning a long-range tuna trip on one of our boats. Not all of these items are necessary, but will make your trip more comfortable.

Food for 2 or 3 days (depending on length of trip). Microwaves are available on all boats.

Ice chest to store any perishable food you bring. This should only be large enough to bring your food. All boats are equipped with brine refrigeration for the handling of the tuna during the trip. Space is limited, so you will need to leave your larger coolers for transporting fish in your vehicle until you return.

Drinks. All boats have coffee and fresh drinking water. Bring all other drinks with you. Alcohol is permitted on the boats, but only beer and wine on the Lucky Pierre.

Sleeping bag and pillow. Boats have bunks with pads. Cotton sleeping bags are more comfortable if you have one available, as you'll slide a lot less if the swell is up.

Raingear and rubber boots. If you don't have these, bring old clothes and shoes that don't slip.

Cameras or video recorders are a good optional item to have with you to prove what you did, since people who have never been tuna fishing find it hard to believe you can catch so many. A good book is nice to have in case you have time to read.

All gear and bait are provided on the boats. If you have gear of your own that you would like to use, you are welcome to bring it (not more than two rods per person, please, due to lack of storage space).

Boat departure time is between 6:30pm-8:00pm. Please check in at the office by 6:00 P.M. the evening of your departure.

MAKE SURE YOU CALL THE OFFICE AT 1-800-562-0105 (OR 360-268-9144 FOR OUT-OF STATE CALLERS), ON THE MORNING OF YOUR TRIP. THIS IS TO INSURE THAT YOUR TRIP HAS NOT BEEN CANCELED OR DELAYED DUE TO WEATHER CONDITIONS. WE WILL TRY TO CALL YOU IF AT ALL POSSIBLE.

NO REFUND OF DEPOSITS WITHOUT A 21 DAY NOTICE OF CANCELLATION. ALL CANCELLATIONS WILL BE CHARGED A 10% BOOKING FEE

If you have any other questions, please call. --- Thank you & have fun!
